Our high‑performing Projects, Infrastructure & Construction team is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate (3+ years PQE) with strong front‑end experience to join our growing Adelaide practice.

This is an opportunity to work on high‑quality, significant‑value matters within a dynamic and collegiate team led by Partners Martin Lovell and Juniper Watson. With a strong pipeline of local and national work, the team is expanding to support large‑scale project delivery and broader practice growth.

The role

This role offers genuine technical development and clear career progression, including:

• High‑quality work - exposure to $bn‑dollar mega projects while based in South Australia
• Enviable client base - sophisticated clients delivering major, complex projects

Day‑to‑day, you will:

• Work on sophisticated transactions involving complex legal and commercial issues
• Draft and negotiate bespoke commercial agreements, including project agreements, construction contracts, and services and supply contracts
• Undertake detailed due diligence and provide strategic advice across the full project lifecycle, including structuring, compliance, planning, negotiation strategy and operational matters
• Contribute to client development, relationship management and broader practice growth initiatives

About you

You will bring:

• 3+ years PQE in front‑end Projects, Construction and/or Energy work
• Strong academic credentials and well‑developed technical legal skills
• A commitment to excellence and delivering high‑quality outcomes for clients
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
• A proactive, collaborative and “can‑do” mindset, with a genuine desire to grow your career at Piper Alderman
