15-Month Maximum Term Contract (Parental Leave Cover)

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Learning & Development Advisor to join our national People & Development team on a 15-month parental leave contract.

This role is an exciting opportunity for an L&D professional who enjoys coordinating engaging learning experiences, building strong stakeholder relationships and contributing to capability development across a national firm.

Reporting to the Melbourne P&D Manager and working closely with the L&D Partner, you will support the delivery of the firm’s learning and development initiatives. You will coordinate national learning programs, support compliance activities, maintain learning records within the Learning Management System (LMS) and contribute to the successful delivery of development programs and training aligned to firm strategy.

You will work collaboratively with Partners, Senior Lawyers, Business Services teams and external providers to support professional growth and regulatory compliance across the firm.

About you 

  • A suitable qualification in HR, Adult Education or Workplace Training & Assessment.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar L&D or HR role, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Computer literacy with experience using a Learning Management System (LMS). 
  • A strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Data analysis skills to ensure data driven decisions. 
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including SharePoint experience.
  • A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach to work.
