This opportunity is a rare vacancy within our environment and is not to be missed! Working with an experienced conveyancer in our friendly and fast paced team you will develop an enviable substantive skill set and enjoy a healthy work-life balance in a thriving firm.

While the role will predominantly involve South Australian residential conveyancing, the successful applicant must be willing to learn and support complex commercial and interstate matters as needed.

Working in our National Real Estate team, and for our Adelaide partnership, you will work closely with an experienced conveyancer.

On a daily basis your role will consist of-:

  • Managing South Australian residential conveyancing files from start to finish, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Preparation of residential land sale contracts and Form 1 Vendor’s Statements.
  • Preparing land division documents.
  • Preparing a variety of South Australian land registry forms.
  • Registration of lease documents.
  • Preparing stamp duty submissions where manual assessments are required.
  • Building and maintaining strong client/referral relationships.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, addressing client queries, and offering guidance throughout the transaction process.
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a conveyancer
  • If not already a registered conveyancer, be eligible (and willing) to apply for registration as a conveyancer in South Australia within the next 4 months
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work
  • Proficient in the use of relevant conveyancing software and technology
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
