The role

We have the perfect opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is looking for a varied HR role. This role will provide you with the chance to gain valuable experience in Learning & Development while also supporting our Talent Acquisition team. You will be mentored and guided by a team of experienced HR professionals as you help drive employee development initiatives and assist with end – to end recruitment processes.

This is a fantastic entry-level HR opportunity and the perfect candidate will be someone who is eager to learn, open to feedback and embraces all the development opportunities that come with this role.

Key responsibilities

Learning and Development Support:

  • Support the delivery of our CPD program and other training initiatives
  • Oversee the on-demand resources and video content library
  • Assist with L&D inquiries and maintain CPD records for practitioners
  • Manage administration tasks on our learning platform including course creation, tracking attendance and updating the event calendar
  • Coordination of learning and development programs such as onboarding, early careers and leadership training

Talent Acquisition Support:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify job requirements and draft job advertisements
  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for a range of positions
  • Organise interview schedules and follow-up communication with candidates
  • Keep the applicant tracking system (ATS) up to date
  • Perform reference checks for candidates

What are we looking for?

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar  
  • Some prior experience in recruitment, learning and development, or HR coordination is preferred
  • A demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment with an ability to manage time well
  • Clear communicator with a high level of attention to detail
  • Friendly and responsive to internal clients with the ability to build relationships a variety of stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS/ATS or LMS systems is a plus
  • An eagerness to learn and grow, with an expressed interest in learning and development
  • Finally, we like to have a laugh! We are looking for a great team fit, with the right attitude
