The role

Our busy Melbourne Real Estate team is seeking a motivated, driven and enthusiastic Lawyer who is keen to grow in a high-performing supportive property practice. You will work closely with three Partners and an experienced and collaborative team on a broad range of commercial property matters, with genuine client contact including:

  • Sales and acquisitions (commercial and agricultural land)
  • Leasing (commercial, retail and industrial)
  • Urban development projects
  • Off the plan development and sales

In this role you will be exposed to a range of high net worth and established clients including managed investment fund managers, commercial land owners, residential and commercial developers with direct client contact. The firm is able to offer you a supportive and friendly working environment to develop as a junior lawyer and mentoring from highly regarded Partners. You will be supported to build your technical skills and confidence as a trusted advisor.

About you 

  • Between 1 - 2 years PQE experience in property law (commercial firm experience preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptionally high attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
  • Well organised and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience with PEXA and Duties Online
  • Willingness to learn and a proactive attitude
  • A team player, willing to collaborate with the broader team
