Are you a 2024 Law Graduate looking for your new year opportunity? The Private Client Services team is looking for a Law Graduate wanting to gain practical experience early, to build a career under the supervision of successful senior lawyers.

 

Our Private Client Services team is seeking a Law Graduate to join our Adelaide office in early 2025. We know that you will want exposure to real legal work, and Partner mentoring, and our graduate program will allow you this opportunity in addition to exposure to clients and a variety of matters. This practice group provides expertise in business and asset succession planning for families and trustees. Often this will require planning for an undertaking litigation in the Supreme Court. There will be exposure to trust and commercial law as well as estate planning and administration by drafting wills and administering deceased and protected estates.

Our program is tailored to provide personalised on-the-job training, real case experience, client interaction, and direct contact with partners to support your journey towards admission as a lawyer.

Working full time you will be:

  • Working with experienced practitioners specialising in estate planning and administration
  • Completing various law graduate tasks such as drafting, researching, and editing as well as attending client meetings with lead Partner, Donna Benge

Requirements



To be successful for this position, you will ideally:

  • Be a 2024 graduate and commencing GDLP in 2025.
  • Developing interest in succession law post completion of university subject
  • Have a customer service-oriented background coupled with empathy and good listening skills
  • Possess exceptional organisation skills, time management and attention to detail
  • Be self-motivated and demonstrate a willingness to learn
  • Have strong initiative and willingness to learn
