Commercial Law Graduate or 1st Year Lawyer

Working alongside Partner Simon Venus and the Adelaide Commercial team, you will be part of a highly respected practice that advises clients across a broad range of commercial, corporate and strategic matters. This is an opportunity to work closely with experienced practitioners who are invested in developing the next generation of talent and providing meaningful client exposure from day one.

We are looking for candidates who are diligent, curious, commercially minded and eager to build their expertise in a collaborative and high-performing environment. To be a successful applicant, you will ideally:

• Have prior experience either as a newly admitted Lawyer, or clerk/graduate , in a corporate/commercial practice
• Be due to complete university studies by the end of 2026, or a newly admitted lawyer
• Be able to demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Have excellent written, drafting and verbal communication skills
• Have excellent research skills.
• Have an enquiring mind and demonstrate curiosity and a commitment to growing your specialist expertise, and be open to feedback
• Have high attention to detail and be self motivated
