The role

Our busy Real Estate team in Melbourne is seeking an ambitious and experienced property Associate or Senior Associate with 4 – 6 years PAE to join them. This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work closely with three Partners and a high-performing collaborative team, on a broad range of commercial property work including:

  • Sales and acquisitions of farms and other agricultural assets, childcare centres, offices and retail premises (including shopping centres).
  • Complex AFLs and leasing.
  • Mixed-use residential and retail projects.
  • Industrial land development.
  • Development and disposals of aged care facilities.
  • Financing for acquisitions and developments.
  • General property advice.

In this role you will work closely with highly experienced and well-respected Partners; Greg Taylor, Carlyna Chhen, John Wu and their team. The firm is able to offer you a supportive and friendly working environment to develop as you progress your career.

About you

  • Between 4 - 6 years PAE experience in property law, preferably in a commercial law firm.
  • An excellent academic record with strong technical legal skills.
  • Well developed commercial acumen and a desire to strengthen and build client relationships.
  • Capability to work autonomously at times.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptionally high attention to detail.
  • A team player, willing to collaborate with the wider team and other members of the firm.
