The role

This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of commercial disputes, including contractual disputes, professional negligence matters, insolvency and restructuring issues, and regulatory proceedings. You will have carriage of matters, work directly with clients, and play a key role in developing litigation strategies and delivering commercially focused outcomes.

The work is varied, complex and intellectually engaging, providing exposure to significant disputes across a range of industries and sectors. You will be involved in all stages of the litigation process, from providing strategic advice prior to court proceedings being commenced, to developing case strategy and managing key steps in the court timetable, including interlocutory applications through to mediations, trials and appeals. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your technical expertise, deepen client relationships and take on a high level of responsibility while advancing your career.

About you 

  • You will have experience at the Senior Associate level (5+ years PAE).
  • You have high attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You’re a team player with a collaborative approach.
  • You have exceptional time management skills, the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
  • You’re highly proficient and experienced in performing critical analysis and solving problems.
  • You’re enthusiastic and personally motivated to perform continuous learning and self-improvement.

Our high-performing and collegiate Dispute Resolution and Litigation team in Perth continues to grow, and we are seeking a driven lawyer with commercial litigation experience to play a key role in our expanding practice.
