Our high performing Projects, Infrastructure & Construction team are looking for an Associate or Senior Associate (4-7 years PQE) with outstanding front-end experience. The Role

On a day-to-day basis you will be:

  • Working on sophisticated transactions involving complex legal issues
  • Drafting complex, bespoke commercial agreements – including project agreements, construction contracts, services and supply contracts and undertaking detailed due diligence for clients
  • Providing intelligent outcomes to clients on the full project lifecycle including project and contract structuring, compliance, planning, commercial negotiation strategy and operational matters
  • Supporting the development and training of junior lawyers in the practice group
  • participating in client attraction, retention and practice development

About You

  • You’ll have 4+ years PQE experience in front-end Projects/Construction/Energy work
  • An excellent academic record coupled with strong technical legal skills
  • A commitment to excellence and delivery of high quality outcomes to our clients
  • Ability to effectively manage your own time, managing competing tasks and at time working to tight deadlines  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A proactive and ‘can do’ attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow your career with Piper Alderman
