We have the perfect opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is looking to take the next step in tjeir career in Human Resources. This is a varied and exciting role that will offer the right candidate the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of HR processes and initiatives whilst being supported and mentored by a team of experienced HR professionals along the way! Our team at Piper Alderman consists of People and Development Managers, L&D, Early Careers and an administrator.  

This role supports the firm from an administrative and operational perspective on a national scale, and will allow you to build a strong HR skillset, adding the foundation for a successful career in HR. The HR team view this role as imperative to their ability to deliver a seamless employee experience to both current and potential employees.

You will ideally have;

  • Bachelor of Business or Human Resource Management degree qualification (or equivalent)
  • 2+ years experience in HR administration
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity of a HRIS, and Pageup (ATS).

  • Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.

This role will support:

  • Coordination and delivery of National HR induction presentations and national HR led events
  • Creation of new starter onboarding schedules 
  • Reporting including WGEA and Mercer.
  • Coordination of the bi-annual development review process
  • Coordination of exit processes, including liaising with employees throughout the offboarding process and conducting exit interviews for junior lawyers and business services employees.
  • As the first point of contact for general HR queries, responding to routine enquiries promptly and escalating to PDMs on more complex matters as appropriate
  • The HR data analytics project and/or other projects as assigned including reporting, analysis and stakeholder engagement
