Litigation Lawyer – 1-3 years PQE

Due to our continued growth, Piper Alderman is seeking a talented lawyer with 1-3 years of post-qualified experience to join our Litigation & Dispute Resolution group. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial litigation and related dispute matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with partners and senior lawyers on litigation and dispute matters
  • Drafting emails, correspondence, opinions, advice, and legal documentation for court and tribunal proceedings
  • Assisting with the preparation and management of files
  • Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents
  • Managing the discovery process including collecting, reviewing, and organising documents and evidence
  • Attending court appearances and mediations

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

  • 1-3 years of post-admission general litigation experience
  • Excellent academic record with strong technical legal skills
  • Commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and delivering high-quality outcomes for clients
  • Ability to effectively manage time, handle competing tasks, and work to tight deadlines
  • Strong drafting skills, particularly in drafting court documents and affidavits
  • Team player with a supportive and collaborative working style
  • Self-motivated with a "can-do" attitude and eagerness to learn and grow your career with Piper Alderman
