The role

Are you looking to be part of a team that works hard, has plenty of laughs and a culture of teamwork? This is a rare Legal Administrative role that offers you the opportunity to be part of a growth story for our firm.

You will be responsible for:

  • Working with and supporting a team of legal professionals to service their clients;
  • Opening and closing matters, conducting conflict searches and ASIC and property searches;
  • Attending to online filing of Court documents in Court Portals;
  • Assisting with preparing court documents, briefs to counsel and Court Books, and general correspondence;
  • Matter management to keep the team on top of their deadlines (we love being told what to do!);
  • Attending to time entries, processing third party invoices and monthly billing and reporting;
  • General administrative duties such as receiving clients, printing, scanning, filing, diary and file management;
  • Ad hoc assistance with office administration duties.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Experience in a law firm environment;
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to manage priorities;
  • Demonstrated ability to work with legal staff and clients;
  • Strong initiative and problem solving ability;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to excellence in customer service;
  • A team player who loves to bring their personality to the office!
